刑事法典第323条文(蓄意伤人):

除第334条文另有规定外，任何人故意造成伤害，一旦罪成可被判监禁不超过1年、罚款2000令吉或两者兼施。

*致伤配偶或前配偶、儿童、残疾人士或家庭成员，可在326A条文下同读，被判以上双倍的刑罚。

penal code section 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt)

Whoever, except in the case provided for by section 334, voluntarily causes hurt, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to two thousand ringgit or with both.

*Whoever causes hurt to his spouse or former spouse, a child, an incapacitated adult or other member of the family and commits an offence under section 323, 324, 325, 326, 334 or 335 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to twice of the maximum term for which he would have been liable on conviction for that offence under the relevant section notwithstanding any other punishment provided for that offence.

kanun keseksaan seksyen 323 (Seksaan kerana dengan sengaja menyebabkan cedera)

Barang siapa, kecuali dalam hal yang diperuntukkan oleh Seksyen 334, dengan sengaja menyebabkan cedera, hendaklah diseksa dengan penjara selama tempoh yang boleh sampai setahun, atau dengan denda yang boleh sampai dua ribu ringgit, atau dengan kedua-duanya.

*kecederaan terhadap pasangan atau bekas pasangan, kanak-kanak, orang kurang upaya atau ahli keluarga boleh dibaca bersama Seksyen 326A, hukuman maksimum dua kali ganda boleh dikenakan atas sabitan bagi kesalahan itu.
